We'll cut to the chase right away: this post is the last we'll be writing for the Metro DC Dog Blog. After today, new posts will cease until further notice. Put another way, the blog will be going on hiatus.
After two years and two months plus of writing this blog, we're naturally a little sad to see this era end. But we're also incredibly grateful.

Dogtown USA, DC edition

Bark in the park, minor league edition
We've been a supporter of the Washington Nationals since well before this year's Cinderella season. And we especially like the Pups in the Park events that the team holds periodically (the last one of this season will be on September 22 at Nats Park).
But meanwhile, we want you to know that one of the Nats' minor league teams is holding an event for dogs, too -- and it'll be held this coming Friday.
